Bingo history started way back in 1530, “Lo Giuoco del Lotto D’Italina” was an Italian lottery which up until the present day is still being played in Italy every Saturday.
It was in the late 1770’s that it was introduced to France. “Le Lotto” was its name in France. This is a game that only the wealthy Frenchmen were allowed to play. In the 1800’s, Germans played their own version of Bingo, however, they used the game as a tool to help students in Germany to learn their spelling, math and history. Read the full post

Bingo may seem like a relatively new invention, but the origins of the game date from the 16th century. We can extend as far back as 1530, an Italian lottery called “Lo Giuoco del Lotto D’Italia, “the latest and every Saturday in Italy, this game is still played today. Two hundred years, the game was subsequently introduced to the French in the 1770s and called” Le Lotto”. The game has actually played by wealthy French right now. Read the full post
