The traditional way to play bingo in the UK and Australia is the 90 ball version of the game, though online bingo finds its roots in the 75 ball bingo game from the USA. The two games are basically the same, with the players having a ticket which you mark your numbers off of when they’re called and aim to get the winning pattern to win the game. But, the difference is, on the 90-ball game you have a 3×9 columned card with 5 numbers on each line, the other four squares being left blank. You also don’t try and complete ‘patterns’ like you do in the other version, and aim to complete 1, 2 or 3 lines on the ticket. This means that you have three chances to win in each game. Bingo is a numbered ball game. In different countries it is played in different ways. The U.S people play bingo game with 75 numbered balls where as the people of U.K play with 90 numbered balls. Let me explain you the traditional bingo game first. In traditional bingo game, there is certain number of balls (75 or 90) kept in one container or place. Then the host will draw one ball randomly out of the system and call the number printed on the ball. The person who calls the number is known as bingo caller and his duty is to draw and call the number. Now each player has bingo cards with him. Now he has to market the bingo number called by the caller if it is available in his card. The traditional bingo card contains 25 numbers all together in the form of 5 rows and 5 columns. The player, who got all the 5 horizontal or vertical or diagonal series of numbers marked in his bingo card, wins the bingo. It is all about traditional bingo. Read the full post
